Meet our Teachers

University of Toronto graduate majoring in Human Bio and double Minoring in Spanish and Sociology. TESL certified, fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish. 20+ years experience in 1-1 Tutoring and teaching youth. She loves teaching pre-teens and being able to engage in deep conversations with her students. She loves mystery and classic books and keeps reading every night to add to her collection.

McMaster University graduate majoring in Psychology. Completed Teacher certification and is a member of OCT. Currently working as Primary/Junior/Intermediate certified teacher at TDSB and has 1-1 tutoring experience in multiple subject areas. Fluent in English and Korean. Loves connecting with students of all backgrounds and enjoys providing fun and engaging programs.

University of Toronto graduate double majoring in Economics and Geography. Specializes in social sciences, history, and literal analysis and has years of experience engaging students up to high school with studies and preparation. His forte is captivating students with live discussions and meaningful conversations. Communicates in English and Mandarin. During his free time, he loves to strum on a guitar and teach new friends how to play board games.

Junior/ Intermediate teacher graduated in York University’s Teachers College Program. Also has an undergraduate at York University majoring in History and minoring in Political Science. 

Has experience teaching skiing, swimming, and English to a diverse range of students from 3-27 year olds. 

Fluent in Korean and English. 

He enjoys teaching and having discussions especially as it is only through civil discourse that we can continue to grow our understanding of each other and of this world. He loves reading historical fiction and non-fiction!

Toronto Metropolitan University graduate from the B.S.c.N collaborative program. She loves connecting with people, especially youth and she is passionate about fostering a love for learning. She hopes to encourage students to explore new perspectives, think critically and find joy in reading. She loves science fiction and creating art during her spare time.

University of Toronto graduate majoring in Psychology. Tyndale University post-graduate degree in Clinical Counseling. 6 + years of experience in 1-1 and Small Group Tutoring. Also currently working as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and is also a Kids Ministry Elementary Grade Coordinator at her church. Fluent in English and Tagalog. She loves being able to help students stir up curiosity and make connections to reading material and assignments. Enjoys the outdoors, baking up new recipes, and treasure hunting for vintage items.

Sheridan College graduate with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in its Animation Program. 

He has 10+ years in leading children ministry at his church.

He uses creativity and storytelling to make reading and writing fun and meaningful.

He enjoys seeing the growth of the kids that he teaches, in both character and faith. His favourite genre is fantasy and he enjoys board games and rock climbing.

Double-major student in French and Art History at the University of Toronto, fluent in Korean, English and French. 

With experience tutoring French and English writing and three years in Youth Ministry Leadership at her church, she’s passionate about working with youth and creating an authentic learning environment that sparks curiosity and joy. In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing the bass guitar, and film photography.

A passionate educator with over 10 years of experience teaching in schools and children’s ministries. He holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master’s in Child Studies and Education from the University of Toronto.

A certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), Joshua teaches Grade 5/6 at a Christian private school. He values inquiry-based learning that inspires curiosity and connects students’ experiences to new ideas. In his free time, he enjoys softball and board games.

McMaster University graduate majoring in Health Studies and Gerontology with a minor in Mental Health and Addiction. Also graduated teacher’s college at Tyndale University in the Primary/Junior division and is a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Currently working as Grade 5 teacher at a Christian private school. She enjoys working with children by engaging in conversation with them and creating an environment where they feel safe and comfortable to share their thoughts and ideas. In her spare time, she enjoys running, going to the gym, and trying new food places.

Has experience teaching and tutoring across various grade levels, supporting both academic growth and confidence in learning. Currently working as a tutor, teacher, and instructor, she focuses on creating positive and engaging learning environments.
