Welcome to our High School book club! This highly requested course is now available for our Grade 9-10 students who wish to continue reading throughout the school year. Understanding the academic demands of high school students, we have designed a program that is community and discussion-driven, not an added burden. Students will be reading two longer, more comprehensive works of literature instead of the four shorter books that are standard in our junior and senior courses. While the quantity is reduced, the consistency and quality of the lessons will be elevated to fit the rigour of our students. This will lead to deeper discussion, a stronger sense of community, and projects like team book reports.
